iSeries meters and PID controllers
feature a 21-mm high display, which is easily programmed
to change between green, amber, and red for any set points,
range or alarm points. Standard universal input allows
simple menu selection of thermocouples, RTD's, and process
voltage and current. Other standard features include 10
and 24 VCD transmitter excitation CE compliance, NEMA
4/IP65 front bezel, universal power supply (90-240 VAC/VDC),
plug connectors and an extended 5-year warranty. Control
output options include SPDT relays, solid state relays,
DC pulse and programmable analog voltage and current for
control retransmission of the process value.
Process Monitoring and
iSeries devices connect directly to an Ethernet
network with a standard RJ-45 connector and can send and
receive data in standard TCP/IP packets. These devices
can serve Web pages over an Ethernet LAN or even over
the Internet, thereby making it possible to monitor and
control a process through a Web browser from anywhere
in the facility or the world. In addition, the iSeries
does not require a computer. The iSeries meter
or controller connects directly to the Ethernet network—not
to a serial port of a computer functioning as a "server"
or "master" to "slave" instruments.
