Model 100W30
The 100W30 Platinum Resistance Temperature Detector has been developed to provide the typical high quality of platinum RTD sensors at lower cost. The 100W30 is equivalent in size to standard elements, and utilizes a thick film design for long term stability. Compared to standard 3 mm wire wound sensors, the second generation 100W30 has up to 4 times the response time, and is a direct replacement. The type 100 sensor is calibrated to DIN43760, BS1904 and IEC751 specifications, with an alpha coefficient of 0.00385. Nominal resistance is 100 ohms at 0°C. These sensors can be operated at temperatures up to 600°C (1200°F).
