Thermocouples for Extruders - Compression Styles with Stainless Steel Cable

NEWPORT's rugged Spring-Loaded Bayonet and Compression Fitting Thermocouples are ideally suited for measuring plastic processing machinery temperatures at the crosshead, die, and barrel. With NEWPORT's pipe clamp adapter, the Bayonet type can be used to measure pipewall and bearing temperatures. The maximum length for armored cable is 40 feet (5 feet is standard). Dual elements are available. The standard termination is Style 1 (spade lugs) or Style 2 (std size male connector). Style 3 (std size female connector) is available upon special request. Probes with 45° bends are also available.
Price includes 3/16" sheath diameter probes, brass compression fitting with 1/8 NPT fitting, and 1.5 m (60") lead length. Grounded junction standard. Ungrounded also available.

Construction: 1/4" Stainless Flexible Cable. Standard Length: 48".
Cable dia.: 0.275"

To order extension cable, insert desired calibration (J, K, T or E) in first space ( ) provided. To order non-standard lengths (over 48"), change "48" in model no. to desired length in inches. Add $2 up to 10 feet and $4 for over 10 feet or fraction of single element extension cable over 48".
For dual element extension cables, add $3 up to 10 feet and $5 for over 10 feet or fraction of dual element extension cable over 48" and change SEEX to DEEX.

Note: Custom A and B configurations are available. Consult Sales Department for price and availability.
